PVC Floor Sensor Mat
Indigo Care provides a smart Australian designed 2-Fold Premium PVC Floor Sensor Mat that improves safety, is easier for storage, and lessens damages. It has a low profile and is made of a non-slip material.
It can be used alongside the bed to act as an out-of bed sensor mat, or when in a folded position, it can act as a chair sensor mat.
Unlike other floor mats, our Premium Floor Sensor Mats are supplied with a detachable “Y” cable to reduce trip hazards and damages to the electrical cord.
The Y-Cables are 3 metres long with a spare socket for the pendant and enables you to connect to your existing nurse call system.

Cushion Floor Sensor Mat
Indigo Care provides a pressure sensitive Premium Floor Cushion Sensor Mat that is designed for residents who are at risk of falling out of their bed, or those who require assistance in arising from the bed or a chair.
Unlike other floor mats, our Premium Floor Cushion Sensor Mat has a USB Connection and is supplied with a detachable USB “Y” cable to reduce trip hazard and damage to the electrical cord. Under Mattress Sensor Mat
Indigo Care’s Under Mattress Sensor Mat is placed UNDER the mattress and is designed to immediately alert staff should a resident leave their bed.
This is most useful to residents who are at risk of falling out of their bed, or those who require assistance in rising from the bed. With the Under Mattress Sensor, there are no issues with incontinent residents.
For a normally open call system, a monitor and a “Y” cable must be connected in between the Under Mattress Sensor Mat and the Nurse Call Point.
For a normally closed system, an extension lead is required.
Once the resident removes themselves from the sensor area, and tries to leave their bed, the sensor will activate the monitor’s alarm and the nurse call system, alerting the staff.

Chair Sensor Mat
Indigo Care provides a pressure sensitive Premium Chair Sensor Mat that is designed to immediately alert staff should a resident leave their chair. This is most useful to residents who are at risk of falling out of their chair, or those who require assistance in arising from the chair.
The mat is placed in the centre of the chair, directly underneath the resident’s bottom. If a chair cushion is used, then the Sensor Mat must be placed on top of the cushion. A light covering can be placed on top of the chair sensor mat.
For a normally open call system, a monitor and a “Y” cable must be connected in between the Chair Sensor Mat and the Nurse Call Point.
For a normally closed system, an extension lead is required.

Mini Sensor Pad
Indigo Care’s Mini Sensor Pad can be used with any of our hardwired monitors as well as our wireless range.
It can be used as a call pad for those with less dexterity, an out of chair sensor, an alarm for either someone sitting on the toilet or someone getting up from the toilet.
It is small in size with tabs and Velcro that can be fixed around the wrist.

The Wet Sensor Mat is placed on the bed, directly under the bed linen. The Deluxe Wet Sensor Monitor is connected to the wet sensor mat and then, with a Y cable, the mat is connected to your existing nurse call system via the monitor.

Wet Sensor Monitor
Indigo Care provides a Deluxe Wet Sensor Monitor that is designed to be used in conjunction with one of our Wet Sensor Mats or Pads.
The monitor runs on a 6V Power Adaptor or 3 “AAA” batteries and has a low battery indicator light. It houses an inbuilt speaker for standalone operation, if required.
There are three volume settings (Low, Medium, High) and three different tones from which to choose. A Delay Switch Setting allows three different timing trigger options, from 0 – 2 seconds. If needed, you are able to switch the sound off completely, by selecting “Mute”.

PIR Motion Sensors - Wired
Single PIR Motion Sensor
Indigo Care provides a Single PIR Alarm Motion Sensor that can detect movement with its narrow curtain beam. The narrow beam can be used as an out of bed or chair mat sensor or notify entry or exit through a particular door.
The PIR Motion Sensor can be wall mounted using the attached bracket. You can swivel the PIR to whatever direction you would like. This will enable you to obtain your desired beam position.
The motion sensor will be activated when the resident crosses the beam’s path. The PIR can be activated manually using the ON/OFF switch.
The motion sensor has a 3 metre cable (included) which connects to the motion sensor and your nurse call system.
The plug is a 6.3 mm jack plug and we offer different wiring configurations based on your nurse call system. The unit is supplied with either a 9V power pack or a 9V battery.

Dual PIR Motion Sensor Kit
For a more comprehensive setup, the Dual PIR Alarm Motion Sensor Kit offers sensors for both sides of the bed. This kit can also function as an Out of Chair or Room Entry/Exit sensor.
Installation is simple: choose two PIR Motion Sensors (available with either a power adaptor or battery) and connect them to a V Lead that suits your nurse call system. The sensors can be mounted on the wall using the included bracket and swivel arm, allowing for 360-degree rotation. Alternatively, place the sensors on either side of the bed.
The unit features a separate ON/OFF switch to prevent false triggers and for manual activation when needed. The motion sensors are powered by a 9V power pack or battery and include a 3-meter cable with a 6.3mm mono jack to connect to the nurse call system.

Y Lead
Indigo Care provides a special, moulded “Y” Lead Adaptor, with either a 6.3mm connection or a USB connection to be used with all of our Fall Prevention sensor mats and pads. This comes as a standard item when you purchase a Floor Mat or Floor Cushion Mat, whether the mat’s connection is 6.3mm or USB. The “Y” Lead is sold as a separate item with our chair, bed, under mattress sensor mats.
The “Y” Lead will allow you to connect the sensor mats and pads to your existing nurse call pendant system. As the “Y” Lead has an extra socket, the resident will then have a pendant and a mat/pad connected to the one nurse call point.
There are three types of “Y” leads to choose from. This choice will depend on your existing nurse call system.
- T1 - Tip and Ring
- T2 - Mono
- T3 - Tip and Sleeve
The cord is 3 metres long which will allow for greater coverage as well.

Indigo Care provides a special, moulded “V” Lead Adaptor to be used with any call points with a 6.3mm jack socket outlet. The product is designed to perform in tough environments but with safety in mind.
The “V” Lead Adaptor is made for call points that have a pendant but requires a separate outlet for additional nurse call devices such as fall sensor mats, bed sensor mats, PIRs or a wireless receiver.
There are two types of “V” Lead Adaptors to choose from. The choice will depend on your existing nurse call system.
